Events plan was discussed by organizing committee for Bashkortostan 100th anniversary

A plan of anniversary events was one of the topics discussed at a meeting of the republican organizing committee for the preparation and celebration of the 100th anniversary of the Bashkortostan’s formation. The meeting was held by the Head of the Region Rustem Khamitov.

The Deputy Prime Minister RB Salavat Sagitov reported on the events that would be carried out within the framework of the 100th anniversary of our republic.

Such major projects as the TV project "100 names of Bashkortostan", the International competition-festival of Turkic youth musical creativity "Ural Mono", the "Community" civil forum of the Volga Federal District have already been implemented in 2018. Last week, the director Bulat Yusupov completed the shootings of the feature historical film "The First Republic", which will be released in March 2019.

Gold and silver commemorative coins, a stamp, an envelope and a postcard to the 100th anniversary of the republic are prepared for the release.

The Government of the Republic of Bashkortostan has formed a working group to prepare for the Days of the Republic of Bashkortostan in Moscow in 2019. The events will include festivals, concerts, exhibitions, competitions, as well as presentations of socio-economic, industrial and investment potential, congress and tourism opportunities of the region within the framework of major Russian and international forums.

The Head of Bashkortostan, in turn, instructed to organize expositions of the republic's artworks at the leading venues of Moscow and other cities. He also gave a task to the Government RB to finalize a plan of cultural events for the anniversary of the republic.
