Bashkiria residents will have additional day off next week

At the beginning of next week, residents of Bashkortostan will have an additional day off in connection with the celebration of Eid al-Adha. The traditional Muslim holiday of sacrifice this year falls on Tuesday, August 21. According to the decree of the Government of the Republic dated September 27, 2017, this day is declared a non-working holiday in Bashkortostan.

Also on Monday, August 20, the working hours are reduced by one hour in the republic.

The Feast of the Sacrifice is celebrated on the 10th day of the month of Zulhijjah. In Ufa, a single area is defined for the rituals.
