"White Swim": Denis Gonchar and Yaroslav Vysotin overcame 23 km down river Belaya

Yesterday, a charitable "White Swim", organized in support of an open air tactile mini-park creation, was held in Ufa. Its participants - professional swimmers - Denis Gonchar and Yaroslav Vysotin, overcame 23 km by swimming down the Belaya River (The White River). It took them 3 hours 55 minutes.

The swimmers started at 12 p.m. from the island of Likhachevsky and reached the Biathlon complex at 3.55 p.m. Throughout the way they were accompanied by a boat of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, a live video broadcast was conducted.

At the finish the swimmers were greeted by their friends and family. The guys were presented with gifts made by children, as well as thank-you letters.

With the help of courageous swimming of two concerned people it was managed to raise 65 259 rubles from necessary 100 thousand. The fundraising will be continued for some time. All interested persons can support the project and make their contribution to it.
