Innovative center for universities will appear in Ufa

UFA, 13 August 2018. /Bashinform News Agency/ translated by Tatiana Aksyutina/. It is planned to create an innovative center for universities in the capital of the republic. This was announced at a plenary session of the republican August meeting on education by the Head of Bashkortostan Rustem Khamitov.

According to the head of the region, the innovation center is planned to be located in the premises of the former telephone equipment plant. The building in the downtown of the capital was returned to the ownership of the republic and now it accommodates one of the departments of Bashkir State University.

Now the authorities of the republic expect from the Council of Rectors and the university community a proposal regarding the innovation center.

“Things should be humming there, with students studying day-and-night, with laboratories, technoparks, innovative sites. We have everything we need for this”, noted Rustem Khamitov.
