From August 31 to September 5, a press tour for representatives of Japanese media will be organized in Bashkiria, within the framework of which journalists will get acquainted with the tourist infrastructure of Ufa, as well as major republican tourist sites.
The sanatorium-and-spa system of the republic represents itself a significant health-improving complex, which includes about 100 departmental sanatoria and health resorts, total with more than 250 recreational facilities. Annually about 130 thousand people stay in the sanatoriums of the republic.
Sanatorium and resort opportunities of Bashkiria have already been estimated by guests from other countries. In 2017, the republic was visited by more than 100 thousand foreign tourists, most of which used the services of sanatorium-resort complexes and medical centers.
However, not so many information on the republic’s possibilities in the field of medical tourism is available on international tourist channels. In this regard, the Government of the republic regularly organizes press tours for the media representatives.
In June and July, a media delegation from South Korea, China, and Ecuador visited Bashkiria. Journalists noted the high level of service and medical services in the sanatorium and resort centers of the republic, as well as the variety of natural medicinal resources.
The program of the press tour for mass media representatives from Japan includes an acquaintance with the hotels of Ufa, including Hilton, Sheraton, Holiday Inn and others. And also it supposes a visit to the Zorge Fitness health complex, which represents the state-of-the-art and best trends of the modern fitness industry.
Representatives of Japanese media will also visit Beloretsk region of Bashkortostan - with its magnificent mountain ranges, rivers, and healing springs. In this area the "Assy" sanatorium is located, which is one of the best spa institutions of the republic - it is located in a picturesque place, in the Ural Mountains, at an altitude of 220 meters above sea level, on the bank of the Inzer River.
As part of the press tour, participants will visit the unique natural areas of the Southern Urals, get acquainted with the national cuisine in this Bashkir yurt, and learn about local customs and traditions.
Recently, the Head of Bashkortostan Rustem Khamitov met with Tokuro Furuya, Plenipotentiary Minister of the Embassy of Japan in Russia. The parties discussed prospects for cooperation in the industrial, trade-economic, scientific and cultural spheres.
