Rustem Khamitov instructed to support families of Bashkortostan residents killed in plane crash in Krasnoyarsk Territory

The Head of Bashkortostan Rustem Khamitov instructed the republican Government to consider a possibility of supporting the families of Bashkortostan residents who died as a result of the helicopter crash in the Krasnoyarsk Territory. The Prime Minister of the Government of Bashkortostan Rustem Mardanov announced this at a briefing session. The meeting began with a moment of silence in memory of the victims.
The tragedy occurred on the morning of August 4. The helicopter of the UTair airline, which was transporting shift workers, crashed 180 km from the city of Igarka. The plane crash killed 15 passengers and three crew members who were on board the helicopter. Among the dead, there were seven natives of Bashkortostan: residents of Birsk, Ishimbay, Kaltasy, Krasnokamsk, Meleuz districts, the cities of Belebey and Ishimbay.
"The State Committee for Emergency Situations RB actively cooperates with the operational headquarters of the Ministry of Emergencies of Russia, the ministries of health, social policy and other relevant departments of the Krasnoyarsk Territory. Now a decision has been taken to provide assistance to the relatives of the deceased by Rosneft, Sogaz Insurance Company, UTair. The Head of Bashkortostan Rustem Khamitov also instructed to consider a possibility of providing support to the families of the bereaved ", said Rustem Mardanov.
According to the Prime Minister of the Government RB, psychological support and medical assistance are organized for the relatives and friends of the victims in the republic.
