Regional elections public monitoring will be discussed in Ufa

UFA, 6 August 2018. /Bashinform News Agency, Alim Faizov/ translated by Tatiana Aksyutina/. On Tuesday, August 7, the Public Chamber of the Republic of Bashkortostan plans to hold a roundtable on public monitoring of elections in the regions.

The discussion will be attended by the deputy head of the working group of the Public Chamber RF on monitoring the citizens’ electoral rights implementation, the director of the Democracy Studies Foundation Maxim Grigoriev.

Within the framework of the roundtable, the results of large-scale public observation at the presidential elections in March 2018 will be summed up, a solemn ceremony of awarding active participants of the Public Press Center and the Call Center will take place. Representatives of the Public Chamber of Bashkortostan will also talk about their plans to implement an institution of public monitoring at the forthcoming elections to the State Assembly - the Kurultay of the Republic of Bashkortostan.

The event will be attended by members of the Public Chamber RB, political scientists and experts, representatives of non-profit organizations in the region.
