Bashkortostan could become kindest region

UFA, 3 August 2018. /Bashinform News Agency, Rozaliya Valeeva/ translated by Tatiana Aksyutina/. The Public Chamber of the Russian Federation announced a start of the All-Russian campaign "Marathon of Good Deeds".

Within the framework of the campaign, it is planned to gather successful volunteer and charitable projects on one venue and replicate them in the regions of Russia in the format of an online quest with participation of active citizens. This year, in addition to the traditional ratings of the kindest Russian citizens, cities and schools, the organizers include a rating of the kindest regions. The position in the rating depends on the number of points scored by the participants and the quality of their tasks.

The "Marathon of Good Deeds" will be held in two stages. Until October 1, the projects of non-profit organizations and volunteer associations are collected on the website of the campaign, and from October to December, the marathon participants will be engaged in the implementation of the best non-commercial initiatives in their cities.

The main prize of the campaign is two tickets to any destination in Russia. To win them, participants should complete at least one task in five stages. To confirm the completion of the task, they will need to shoot a progress of its execution on a photo or video and send it to the moderators for verification, which will open the participants access to the following tasks and stages.

The All-Russian campaign "Marathon of Good Deeds" has been held since 2016. Over 110,000 Russians became its participants who accomplished more than 60,000 good deeds.

As a result of the marathon, the ratings of the best participants, cities and schools will be compiled. In addition, in 2018 the best regions will be determined for the first time.
