More than 70 children from different countries visited International Aerospace School in Bashkortostan

More than 70 children from Africa, Kazakhstan, Belarus, ten regions and republics of Russia visited the 7th International Aerospace School named after the test cosmonaut of the USSR Ural Sultanov from Bashkiria. The school is located in the village of Kalinovka in the Davlekanovo district on the personal initiative of the Bashkortostan State Assembly deputy Vyacheslav Abroschenko and supported by Ufa State Aviation Technical University and the district administration.

By tradition, the winners of the International Olympiad on the History of Aviation and Aeronautics named after A.F. Mozhaysky, pupils who showed good progress in the study of aviation and cosmonautics, engineering are invited to take part in the school.

From July 6 to July 30, two ten-day sessions were organized, during which the school participants met with the heads of enterprises, pilots, and cosmonauts, scientists, writers, artists, talked with them, listened to lectures, took part in practical classes.

Four Heroes of Russia - the test cosmonaut Sergei Revin, cosmonaut-pilot Michael Kornienko, test pilot, Ufa native Vener Mukhametgareev, major general, Lunokhod driver Vyacheslav Dovgan had meetings with the children. The Honored Test Pilot of the Russian Federation, a native of the Alsheevo district of Bashkiria Ural Sultanov, whose name was given to the school, constantly communicated with the children.

Three times participants of the school went on the air with the International Space Station flying over the territory of Bashkortostan.

Indians - students of Bashkir State Medical University attended the opening and closing ceremonies of the school.
