Geomagnetic storm will cover Earth on July 23

A geomagnetic storm of class G1 approaches the Earth, which is equivalent to the "weak magnetic storm" term. The Laboratory of X-ray Astronomy of the Sun of the Lebedev Physical Institute of the Russian Academy of Sciences (FIAN) published a forecast according to which the magnetosphere will be excited on July 15, 20 and 22. The geomagnetic storm will cover the Earth completely on July 23, the newspaper Izvestia informs.

It is known that geomagnetic storms have a serious impact on human health: many experience severe headaches, fatigue and rapid heartbeat, are irritated and unreasonably worried. However, such storms can have little effect on the power grid and spacecraft control systems.

As previously reported, this year a similar geomagnetic storm was on June 2, and the largest one on April 20.
