UFA, 18 June 2018. /Bashinform News Agency/ translated by Tatiana Aksyutina/. Over three years more than 10 major health facilities will be built in Bashkortostan. This was reported by the Head of the Republic Rustem Khamitov at a meeting dedicated to the Day of Medical Worker.

The head of the region noted that 60.5 billion rubles were allocated from the republican budget to the health care system in 2017. In 2018, this amount will amount to 68.5 billion rubles due to new construction projects.

“We are putting into operation significant health facilities, hospitals, and clinics, medical centers are equipped with modern equipment. A construction of the new polyclinic of the G.G.Kuvatov Republican Clinical Hospital will be started this year ", said Rustem Khamitov.

Among other important objects, there are new buildings of the cardiology center and cancer detection center.

“We will launch a construction of the surgical building of the cardiology center. It will be expensive, monumental construction, but, of course, necessary for the republic. You all know quite well that 40 percent of deaths are accounted for cardiovascular diseases,” Rustem Khamitov stressed. “Next year we will put into operation a new building of a cancer detection center. The construction is in full swing. In general, it is planned to build more than a dozen large healthcare facilities over three years.”

In addition, according to the head of the region, this year 30 new rural health stations will be opened in the regions of the republic, 20 mobile medical complexes for residents of remote villages were purchased.
