Scientists warned of coming magnetic storm

The Sun X-ray Astronomy Laboratory of the Lebedev Physical Institute of the Russian Academy of Sciences (FIAN) has published a new forecast, according to which in the end of June a magnetic storm will hit the Earth.

Scientists evaluated the strength of the storm at the level of G1, which is equivalent to the term "weak magnetic storm". According to experts, it should be expected on June 28, but the Earth's magnetosphere will be excited from June 27 to June 29.

This year, an approximate strength of the magnetic storm was June 2, and the largest - on April 20, RIA Novosti reports.
