Storm warning in Bashkiria with possible wind increase to 23 m/s

UFA, 5 June 2018. /Bashinform News Agency, Alfiya Agliullina/ translated by Tatiana Aksyutina/. The Emergencies Ministry announced an emergency storm warning in Bashkiria. On June 5-6 it is expected wind increase to 23 m/s in the republic. According to the Bashkir Department for Hydrometeorology and Environmental Monitoring, rains with thunderstorms are also expected in the territory of the region these days.

Emergency services call residents of the republic to observe extreme caution - to avoid being near trees, power lines, billboards and fragile structures. Do not come close to water reservoirs, metal structures, and stand-alone objects.

Drivers are advised to choose safer places for parking - do not leave your vehicles under trees, near fences, advertising banners and electric fences. Also, cars should not be parked close to the walls of buildings, so that vehicles cannot be damaged by falling roof elements.
