Emergencies Ministry warns of increased winds and heavy rains in Bashkiria

The Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergencies of the Russian Federation for Bashkortostan informs that heavy rains, thunderstorms, hail, gusts of 18-23 m/s are expected in the territory of the republic on May 31. The air temperature will be 6-11 C at night, 10-15 C in the daytime, and up to 20 C in the south. The information was provided by the Republican Office for Hydrometeorology and Environmental Monitoring.

The Ministry of Emergency Measures recommends staying inside in case of strong winds. Do not leave children unattended. You should take refuge in the underground passages or the entrances of buildings. You should not hide near the walls of houses, since slate and other roofing materials may fall from roofs. The same applies to public transport stops, billboards, trees, unfinished buildings. It is deadly dangerous to stand under the power lines and approach broken wires.
