Ufa is preparing to host Russian-Chinese Cardiology Congress

On June 14-15, the 1st Russian-Chinese congress on treatment of cardiovascular diseases will be held in Ufa, the Bashkortostan Congress Bureau reported. More than one thousand specialists and 35 guests from foreign countries will take part in the forum. It is planned not only to discuss methods of treatment and broadcasting of operations, but also to get acquainted with fundamental research in cardiology in the field of genetics, molecular biology, new drugs. Medical scientists will talk about finding new markers of diseases, candidate genes, exploring possibilities of regenerating the heart muscle and much more.

Researchers from Germany, Austria, China and Russia will present more than 20 reports at the congress. Several reports will be prepared by Ufa scientists from Bashkir State Medical University and the Institute of Biochemistry and Genetics of the Ufa Scientific Center of the Russian Academy of Sciences.
