The head of the region said that in the past year, about 2.5 million square meters of housing were built. In accordance with the new May decree of the President of Russia in the next six years, it is planned to increase the volume of housing construction by one and a half times. Thus, in the republic, this figure should reach almost 4 million square meters.

"At the same time, we are working to ensure that the mortgage loans do not exceed eight percent for families. Then, of course, the apartments will be affordable", stressed Rustem Khamitov. "Of course, we need to work on reducing the cost of housing construction. We know what an increase in value sometimes occurs there, we understand how to act in this part. But we need a legislative base for this. "
