Rustem Khamitov instructed to speed up coordination councils creation for family policy

This was stated by the Head of Bashkortostan Rustem Khamitov at a plenary session of the 2nd Republican Parental Forum.

"We should deal with prevention of social orphanhood, alcoholism, domestic violence, conduct targeted work with different categories of families, primarily at a local level, to form it on the basis of family passports of municipalities, including demographic indicators", said the head of the region. "We should monitor the safety issues of children's summer vacation. It is important to deal with prevention of crimes against children. "

In this regard, according to the head of the republic, it is necessary to accelerate the formation of coordinating councils on family policy in municipalities to ensure coordinated activity of all services in the interests of families, to involve non-profit organizations, business, and the parental community in this activity.

The head of Bashkortostan also noted that it is necessary to involve the mass media in promotion of family values and create family TV channels. It is important to resist destructive tendencies in social networks. Family bloggers, volunteers, and mediators should help in this area.
