Bashkiria inhabitants will have long weekend in June

UFA, 21 May 2018. /Bashinform News Agency, Galina Bakhshieva/ translated by Tatiana Aksyutina/. Residents of the republic will have a long weekend in honor of the celebration of Russia Day on June 12 and — Eid al-Fitr on June 15, the Ministry of Labor RB informs.

According to the Labor Code RF, the Day of Russia June 12 is a non-working holiday. Therefore, to ensure a continuous weekend, the Russian government decided to postpone the weekend from Saturday, June 9 to Monday, June 11.

According to the decree of the republican government, June 15 was announced in Bashkortostan as a non-working holiday - Eid al-Fitr, which falls on Friday, June 15.

Thus, with a five-day working week, the residents of the republic will have non-working days on June June 10, 11, 12 and 15, 16, 17, the press-service of the Ministry of Labor explains.

The duration of the working day on June 9 and 14 will be reduced by one hour.
