Selective monitoring of population food ration starts in Bashkiria today
UFA, 17 May 2018. /Bashinform News Agency, Galina Bakhshieva/. From May 17 to June 15, in Bashkiria, statisticians will selectively monitor a food ration of the population. The survey of respondents will be conducted at their place of residence on the basis of voluntary consent.
The information recorded in the questionnaires is not subject to disclosure and is intended only for obtaining summary statistics.
As noted by the Bashkortostan Statistics Agency representatives, selective observation of the diet of the population is conducted to obtain statistical information reflecting social, economic and behavioral factors affecting the provision of a full and healthy nutrition.
The task of the study is to obtain statistical data on the level of individual consumption of food, the energy and nutritional value of the diet, the features of the formation and composition of the food basket of children and adults.
The results of selective observation of the diet are intended to develop and evaluate the effectiveness of measures to implement the Concept of Russia's Demographic Policy for the period up to 2025, the priority national project "Health".
The selective monitoring of the diet is based on a survey of representatives of various groups and segments of the population living in all regions of the country and is conducted with coverage of 45,000 households every five years.
