Bashkir Medical University will exchange students and teachers with University of Traditional Chinese Medicine

Bashkir State Medical University and Jiangxi University of Traditional Chinese Medicine (Nanchang City), which today is one of the leading and included in the Top 10 Universities of the Celestial Empire, signed an agreement for semester student exchanges in pharmacology. The agreement on cooperation was reached in Ufa during the republican scientific and practical conference of otolaryngologists, surdologists "Modern technologies in otorhinolaryngology and surdology", the press center of Bashkir State Medical University informs.

Traditional Chinese medicine in the PRC has a centuries-old history and is based on the treatment with herbs, acupuncture, massage.

To introduce new technologies and combine classical medicine with traditional medicine, professors from China examined the work of the otolaryngology department, visited a hearing reconstructive surgery at the department in the G.G. Kuvatov Republican Clinical Hospital. In turn, doctors and staff of the department acquired interesting knowledge in the field of traditional Chinese medicine.

During the visit to the Bashkir capital, the university vice-rector from China Jianqiang Du read a lecture for third-year students of the pharmaceutical faculty. The professor clearly demonstrated the potential of Jiangxi University and spoke about the peculiarities of the educational process. During the lecture, an issue of concluding an agreement on the academic exchange between students of Bashkir State Medical University and Jiangxi University of Traditional Chinese Medicine was also solved.
