Ufa Airport was first in Volga Federal District to serve millionth passenger this year

UFA, 16 May 2018. /Bashinform News Agency, Ksenia Kalinina/. A millionth passenger is a significant event for the Ufa airport demonstrating the effectiveness of its operation. According to the press service of the capital's air hub, the airport consistently maintains a continuous passenger flow and keeps the regularity of flights.

"We successfully maintain the leadership in the Volga Federal District due to the development of air transportation in Bashkortostan at a pace exceeding the industry average, the introduction of targeted partnership programs with airlines and increased solvency of the region's residents", said Alexander Andreev, the General Director of Ufa International Airport. “In 2017, we managed to set a historical record. The airport served 2.8 million passengers, having exceeded the peak values. This year we expect to beat our record".

The resident of Ufa Alfiya, who went on vacation to Dubai, became the millionth passenger of 2018. As a gift from the carrier, the passenger received a certificate for upgrading the class of service and valuable gifts from the Ufa Airport.
