All-Russian Popular Front invites everyone to take part in plogging at Kukrauk waterfall in Bashkortostan

UFA, 16 May 2018. /Bashinform News Agency, Galiya Nabieva/. In Bashkiria, activists of the All-Russian Popular Front "General Cleaning" project together with the Salavat club of speleologists will conduct an ecological campaign # CHISTO_URAL. UG of Bashkortostan on May 19.

During the environmental clean-up, it is planned to clear the territory of the hydrological nature monument of Kukrauk waterfall and the complex nature monument "The Kalim-Uskan Cave and the Salavat Yulaev Cave" in the Ishimbay district. A coordinator of the "General Cleaning" project in the Republic of Bashkortostan Murad Shafikov noted that separate garbage collection would be organized at the site of the volunteer.

"Another innovation will be plogging, this is a combination of garbage collection and sports", Shafikov said. "Similar eco-activities in the sports format take place in many regions of the country. On the one hand, the participants clean up nature from the garbage, and on the other hand, plogging affects health positively. We hope that this approach will teach our fellow citizens to take care of the environment carefully and protect their health. We invite all comers to join us, we will provide them with all necessary equipment".

The campaign starts at 11.00, the gathering place is in Ishimbay district, a glade near the Kalim-Uskan rock, close to the village of Makarovo.
