Rustem Khamitov held meeting on new May presidential decree implementation

UFA, 15 May 2018. /Bashinform News Agency/. Yesterday, in the House of the Government RB the head of Bashkortostan Rustem Khamitov held a meeting on implementation of the Decree of the President of Russia dated May 7, 2018 No. 204 "On national goals and strategic tasks for the Russian Federation development until 2024".
The head of the region noted that the document specified, regulated the provisions announced in the March Address to the Federal Assembly and was aimed at continuing the socially oriented policy of the head of state focused on citizens of Russia. The decree serves as a basis for providing scientific and technological and socio-economic development, improving the demographic situation, increasing the quality of life in the country and regions.
“If we talk about its main message, goal of the decree, then in six years the country must make an accelerated breakthrough in all directions, enter the top five of the world's largest economies with support for the science-intensive industries development, deep digitalization, creation of high-performance jobs, training of modern human resources, favorable business environment formation", said Rustem Khamitov.
“This means that the Russian economy should annually outpace the world average development growth.”
During the meeting, key points of the Decree were discussed, such as the healthcare and demography, education and science, housing and urban environment, and development of road infrastructure. The targets and indicators of these sectors development for the period up to 2024, measures necessary for their systematic implementation in the republic were considered.
According to the head of the republic, the Bashkortostan Government should revise the plans that have been adopted recently, including the Strategy-2030, sectoral state programs, the Republican targeted investment program, taking into account the national development goals, benchmarks and indicators specified in the Presidential Decree. The parameters and measures set forth before 2024 in the republican state programs should be analyzed in the similar vein. The required amount of resources, funding sources should be identified.
The head of the republic noted that measures to implement the May Decree of the President of the country would also be a subject of separate meetings with the business community, representatives of regional divisions of federal executive structures, municipalities, and public organizations.
