Ufa traveler launches crowdfunding for cycling tour over schools of Asia

UFA, 14 May 2018. /Bashinform News Agency, Evgenia Syutkina/. The international non-commercial project "Children of the World "Cycling Expedition" will go through 16 countries, where it will focus on local schoolchildren.

The project is aimed at promoting tolerance and harmony, positioning Russia in the world as an open, peace-loving and free country.

The author of the cycling expedition idea is an Ufa traveler, Anton Sazonov, director of the "Planeta" non-profit organization for tourism, local history, and environmental projects development. According to him, the main task of the project is to show the equality of the world's children, despite the differences of the countries in culture, economic development, worldview, and geography.

The route of the first stage of the bike expedition starts in Ufa on June 12 and passes through 16 countries - Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, China, Pakistan, India, Nepal, Bangladesh, Myanmar, Thailand, Laos, Vietnam, Cambodia, Malaysia, Singapore, ending in Indonesia and covering on the way of more than 50 UNESCO World Heritage sites. The duration of the first stage is six months.

The product of the project will be photographs and videos covering the learning process, showing students and teachers, resources and training facilities in different countries around the world. The photos will be accompanied by a description of schools, study features, interesting and unusual facts obtained locally.

Based on the results of each stage of the expedition, photo exhibitions, class hours and roundtables will be organized at educational organizations.

Thus, on the one hand, we expect to compensate for part of the costs, and on the other - to give everyone an opportunity to be involved in an interesting business and get a memory of pleasant bonuses. For example, a set of original postcards with wishes of good and luck, written by children in their own languages, sent to you by mail from every country along the way, or a set of photos with the flag of your company against the background of UNESCO World Heritage sites along the route of the bike expedition", Anton Sazonov addressed to the public.
