Victory Day ended with festive fireworks in Ufa

UFA, 10 May 2018. /Bashinform News Agency, Daria Petrova/. On May 9, celebratory events dedicated to the 73rd anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945 were held throughout the city. The culmination of the holiday was fireworks, which began at 10 p.m. in Lenin Square. Several thousand townspeople gathered to see the colorful fireworks.

Recall that on that day the Bashkir capital joined immediately to several patriotic campaigns. More than 100 thousand Ufa people took part in the "Immortal Regiment" march, the number of participants throughout the republic reached 370 thousand people. The participants of the "Victory Records" campaign set an absolute record for push-ups - instead of the announced 26,663 push-ups (according to the number of peaceful days), the citizens did almost 28,000 push-ups.
