Ufa biathlete Anton Babikov ran 60 km of charity marathon in Austria

UFA, 8 May 2018. /Bashinform News Agency, Natalia Ovcharuk/. A biathlete from the capital of Bashkortostan Anton Babikov took part in the charity marathon Wings for Life in Austria. The athlete covered a distance of 60 km.

Let us note that the Bashkir biathlon showed the 19th result ahead of thousands of marathon runners. Babikov finished the third in his group.

One day a year, the Wings for Life World Run charity race starts on official tracks around the world. All participants begin to run at the same time (at 11 o'clock according to the universal coordinated time).

Each participant of the race makes his contribution. 100% of collected registration fees and donations are used to finance projects to support spinal cord and spinal cord injuries treatment.
