About 22 tons of garbage were collected at ecological volunteer clean-ups in Bashkiria

UFA, 7 May 2018. /Bashinform News Agency, Ksenia Kalinina/. Volunteer clean-ups were held in Bashkortostan on May 5. About 1000 people took part in the mass ecological campaign, more than 10.3 thousand units of equipment were involved. The inhabitants of Meleuz, Sterlibashevo, Baltachevo districts and the town of Meleuz took an active part in the volunteer clean-ups.

According to the press service of the Ministry of Ecology RB, about 22 thousand tons of solid municipal waste was collected and transported to landfills. 500 trees and shrubs were planted. Over 152.2 thousand square meters of road surface, and - more than 66.4 thousand running meters of fences, facades of buildings were repaired.
