Rustem Khamitov held Coordination Council meeting for "Lean Government" project

UFA, 4 May 2018. /Bashinform News Agency/. Today the Head of Bashkortostan Rustem Khamitov held the first meeting of the Coordinating Council for the implementation of the "Lean Government" pilot project in the region.
“14 governmental bodies have started to implement this project. The first positive results have already been achieved,” the head of the republic said. “But there are also the first backlogs from the schedule, which are also registered”.
Rinat Shagalin, the head of the project office, managing the affairs of the Head of Bashkortostan, reported on the implementation of the measures plan for the implementation of the "Lean Government" pilot project. According to him, currently, the organizational stage is completed. All state bodies participating in the project approved road maps, tactical plans for their implementation. A unified information portal is created, where all the necessary materials are posted.
“Typical problems in almost all government bodies are long consideration of documents, incomprehensible, formal answers to citizens, which sometimes cannot be used in practice,” said Rinat Shagalin. To solve this issue, it is proposed to create a single service for dealing with citizens' appeals, which are submitted to the authorities in hard copies, electronic form, and also by telephone.
For the convenience of citizens, a hotline will be put into operation which the citizens of the republic can call and make an inquiry regarding their appeal consideration progress or receive another consultation on the issue of interest.
In addition, it is offered to post answers to the most frequently asked questions on the "Electronic Reception of the Bashkortostan Republic Authorities" website.
From the second half of the year, it is planned to organize work on introducing lean principles at the municipal level. To improve the professional knowledge of officials a training center will be formed.
Rustem Khamitov supported the announced proposals. Following the meeting, he signed a protocol, which contains specific instructions to ministries and departments, as well as the terms of their execution.
Recall that the federal pilot project "Lean Government" was developed with the assistance of the Rosatom state corporation. It is aimed at optimizing production processes by eliminating inefficient time costs, creating a lean culture and increasing labor productivity in the executive bodies of state power. In addition to Bashkortostan, the project involves Adygea, North Ossetia-Alania, Kirov and Ryazan regions, and the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous District.
