IT specialist from China had his vision restored at Ufa Eye Diseases Research Institute

UFA, 20 April 2018. /Bashinform News Agency, Elmira Sabirova/. A unique technique developed at the Ufa Research Institute of Eye Diseases returned vision to an IT specialist from China. In March of this year, a patient from China contacted the Ufa Eye Research Institute seeking for ophthalmologic help. He addressed to clinics in China, Europe, the Middle East, Asia and found out that only the Ufa Research Institute of Eye Diseases could render the necessary treatment.

The Chinese citizen underwent a unique surgery, which resulted in high visual acuity of the patient. This treatment technology was developed by the Institute's staff under the guidance of Professor Mukharram Bikbov and is used only in Ufa.

The patient from China shared his impressions of the clinic in the Bashkir capital, noting that the diagnostic and surgery equipment of the Ufa Research Institute was in no way inferior to, and in many ways surpassed the international clinics.

The patient is an IT specialist and keeps a blog about his vision problem. His followers are more than 4,500 patients in China who are diagnosed with the same disease. They were eagerly awaiting the outcome of the surgery and now they would like to come to Ufa for treatment.

Understanding the urgency of the problem, the representatives of China signed an agreement on cooperation, and in May this year, the arrival of the first group of ten patients from China to the Ufa Eye Diseases Research Institute is expected.
