Bashkiria can join "Green Spring-2018" All-Russian Ecological Clean-Up

UFA, 17 April 2018. /Bashinform News Agency, Gulfiya Akulova/. Enterprises and organizations of Bashkortostan can take part in the "Green Spring" All-Russian Ecological Clean-Up. The events of the largest environmental protection campaign in Russia will be held from April 21 to May 21. This year it will be organized for the fifth time with the support of the Federation Council, the State Duma and the Ministry of Natural Resources of Russia.

The volunteer clean-up starts in Sokolniki Park in Moscow. During the month, thousands of environmental events will be held under the banner of "Green Spring". Volunteers will collect the garbage left after winter on the streets of their native towns and villages, in parks, forests and along the coast of rivers and reservoirs. It is expected to involve about 2.5 million volunteers, representatives of public and private companies and residents who are concerned about the nature protection.

It is necessary to register on the website of the All-Russian Ecological Clean-Up to participate in the "Green Spring" activities.

Contests for the best video or lyrics for the song about the "Green Spring" will be held as part of the campaign. The results will be summed up in Moscow on June 5, where the winners of the contest and the most active participants of the clean-up will be awarded prizes during a solemn event in honor of Ecologist Day.
