Drinking water quality was checked in Ufa

UFA, 16 April 2018. /Bashinform News Agency, Galina Bakhshieva/. The "Ufavodokanal" enterprise presented the next report on the drinking water quality in the capital of Bashkiria.

As previously reported by the Bashinform News Agency, such report is published daily on the official site of the enterprise and the portal of the city administration during a high water period.

According to the submitted report, due to the rise in river levels in the water system of Ufa, water quality deterioration has not been registered.

According to the results of operational monitoring of drinking tap water as of April 15, the phenol content in water is less than 0.0003 mg per liter (standard - no more than 0.001), petroleum products - 0.05 mg per liter (standard - 0.1).

Besides, there are no microbes and bacteria in the water.

For the high water duration, the number of sampling points in the distribution system increases from 25 to 40-45 points per day.

The frequency of control over priority indicators and technological control parameters has been increased three-fold, the department explained.
