Warm spring heat will be replaced by cold snap in Bashkiria this week

UFA, 12 April 2018. /Bashinform News Agency, Ksenia Kalinina/. In Bashkortostan, after a short rise in air temperature in the daytime up to +14 C, a cold snap is expected again on Thursday, April 12. According to the Bashkir Met Office, the Arctic air mass is shifting to the territory of the region. The air temperature will drop at night to 0, -5 C, in the daytime with highs of + 3 to + 8 C.

"The change of air masses will be accompanied by precipitation in the form of rain and snow, wet snow in most areas of Bashkiria. In some places it is expected snow deposits and slush build-up, at night and in the morning with glaze and winds of 15-20 m/s", weather forecasters predict.

Cool weather with lows of -2, -7 C at night, and highs of + 3, + 8 C during the day will prevail till the end of the week. It will be a chance of occasional wet snow.

According to the Hydrometeorological Center of Russia, in mid-April, the average daily air temperature in Bashkortostan is expected to be 1-2 degrees below normal.
