Rustem Khamitov and DOSAAF Chairman Alexander Kolmakov signed cooperation agreement

UFA, 12 April 2018. /Bashinform News Agency/. Yesterday, in the House of the Republic the Head of Bashkortostan Rustem Khamitov met with the Chairman of the DOSAAF of Russia (Russian Army, Air Force and Navy Volunteer Society), Colonel-General Alexander Kolmakov.

During the meeting, the parties signed an agreement on cooperation between the DOSAAF of Russia and the Government of the republic. The document provides for cooperation on issues of youth military-patriotic education, youth preparation for military service, improving health, physical and moral-psychological state of young people subject to conscription, improving quality of youth training in military service basics and military specialties.

The agreement envisages the creation of an educational and resource base for training of conscripts for service in the Airborne Forces, a Testing Center of the All-Russia Physical Culture and Sports Complex "Ready for Work and Defense", a Center and a range of technical sports, a training camp for shooting sports development.

“The DOSAAF of Russia is a very important structure. We are ready to continue developing our cooperation. We understand your organization's role in young people preparation, including for the military service", Rustem Khamitov said.

“I think that we can establish a serious program of interaction, as it is done now in Crimea, other subjects of the Russian Federation. I think, in this regard, our joint work will get new momentum, and the agreement will give promotion to all the issues”, stressed Alexander Kolmakov.
