Bashkortostan joined "Parks March" campaign

UFA, 11 April 2018. /Bashinform News Agency, Gulfiya Akulova/. On April 22, the "March of Parks" campaign is launched around the world, which is also called the Days of Reserves and National Parks. It is of a public nature, uniting all enthusiastic people around the idea of supporting specially protected natural areas - reserves, national and natural parks, sanctuaries and natural monuments. The main goal of the campaign is to attract all possible attention to the problems of unique natural territories.

Within the framework of the "March of Parks" campaign, environmental lessons, festivals, planting of tree plants and volunteer clean-ups will be held in the nature parks and reserves of the republic. In the natural parks "Asly-Kul", "Kandry-Kul", "Iremel" and "Muradymovskoye Gorge" creative contest of posters "Let's Preserve Nature" will be held. The best works will be sent to the Wildlife Conservation Center in Moscow.

The year of 2018 is declared the Year of the Volunteer in Russia, which can be a good additional incentive for young people to get ready for their future, the Ministry of Ecology thinks. One of the main tasks of the Parks March is involvement of children and young people in the active and conscious protection of nature. The motto of the campaign is "Youth and Nature - Our Common Future".
