This March has become coldest in Bashkiria since 1970

UFA, 2 April 2018. /Bashinform News Agency, Ksenia Kalinina/. The March of 2018 was the coldest in the territory of Bashkortostan since 1970. According to Bashkir Met Office, the average monthly air temperature was 3.3 degrees below normal.

According to the weather forecasters, the beginning of April will please the residents of the republic with several warm days. With warm air masses coming from the south, the air temperatures on April 3 and 4 in the region will rise in the daytime to + 3, + 9 C, at night to - 0, -5 C, in some areas to -10 C with low rainfall probability.

On April 5, occasional light rains with snow are expected. Due to cloudy weather, the air temperature will decrease during the day to + 1, + 6 C.

"The transition of the average daily air temperature towards the positive values will start at a time close to the climatic norms", the Met Office representatives explained.
