999 fire safety rules infringements were registered in Bashkiria's shopping facilities - Emergency Situations Ministry

UFA, 2 April 2018. /Bashinform News Agency, Ksenia Kalinina/. After a tragedy in Kemerovo, heavily trafficked facilities were checked in Bashkortostan. The Emergency Situations Ministry recorded 999 violations of fire safety rules, among them - a discrepancy between escape routes, total absence of automatic fire alarm and automatic fire suppression systems. This was announced on 2 April at a briefing in the government of the Republic of Bashkortostan by the Head of the Main Directorate of the Emergency Situations Ministry for Bashkortostan Marat Latypov.

The government called for tightening control over compliance with fire safety measures, both while retail properties operation, and at the stage of their construction.

Inspections of heavily trafficked facilities for fire safety compliance will last until April 10.
