Russian Academy of Sciences representative office opens in Bashkiria

UFA, 30 March 2018. /Bashinform News Agency, Galiya Nabieva/. A representative office of the Russian Academy of Sciences will be opened in Bashkortostan. The decision on this was taken the day before in Moscow at the general meeting of the Russian Academy of Sciences.

The appearance of the representative office in the republic is considered as a pilot project for the establishment of the RAS offices in the regions of the Russian Federation. In addition to Bashkortostan, similar structures are being created in the Ulyanovsk and Belgorod regions, the Ufa Federal Research Center reported.

The main functions of the representative office are methodical assistance to scientific organizations located in the territory of Bashkortostan, expertise, preparation of materials on the results of research, preparation of proposals for improving the organizations interaction network, proposals to the leadership of the RAS on the development of the scientific and technical complex of the republic.
