Project initiative on e-learning development is approved in Bashkiria

On March 27, in Ufa at a meeting of the Government Presidium Rasul Taipov, the Chairman of the Regional State Committee for IT Development, spoke about the "Development of Electronic Education in the Republic of Bashkortostan" project initiative, developed as part of the Digital Economy of the Russian Federation Program.

"Our task is to provide access of all social groups of the population regardless of their place of residence and physical condition to high-quality education at all levels, as well as to retraining and improving their skills," said Rasul Taipov. "To achieve an increase in the level of education due to the transition of educational organizations to a brand new stage of development with the use of e-learning and distance education technologies. The creation of the e-education industry will contribute to the development of the digital economy, strengthening of human and creative potential".

According to the press service of the Government RB, it is proposed to use funds of the republican budget in the amount of 60 million rubles to finance the implementation of the project initiative in 2018-2023.
