ARVI outbreak threshold is exceeded by 31% in Bashkiria

UFA, 22 March 2018. /Bashinform News Agency, Galiya Nabieva/. In Bashkiria, an excess of outbreak threshold was registered for the incidence of ARVI by 31%, the regional department of Rospotrebnadzor reported.

According to the information of the agency, last week the increase in the incidence among the adult population was noted. The regional administration stresses that the situation is stable, at the level of average multi-year values.

In general, nationwide, the excess of weekly epidemic thresholds of the acute respiratory viral infection incidence and influenza is registered in 23 subjects.

Among the children of the 0-2 age group, weekly outbreak thresholds for the incidence of ARVI and influenza were exceeded in seven regions, among children of the age group 3-6 years - in 11, among children of 7-14 years - in 12, among persons over 15 - in 14 regions.

More than 10 thousand people were examined in laboratories during the reporting week. The share of influenza viruses in the structure of positive findings increased to 65.3%, of which the influenza B viruses (21.39%) and A (H1N1) pdm09 (21.54%) prevail.

PC viruses prevail prevail in the non-influenza viruses - 36.9%, parainfluenza viruses accounted for 16.6%, adenoviruses - 16.5%, and other viruses of non-influenza associated etiology - 30%.
