Night in Ufa has become record cold over past 58 years

UFA, 13 March 2018. /Bashinform News Agency, Gulfiya Akulova/. The past night in Ufa has become record cold for the last 58 years. Last night on March 13 the absolute minimum of air temperature was hit at the meteorological station of Ufa-Dema. The mercury dropped to -26.8 degrees. Earlier, the lowest temperature of air -25.1 degrees was observed at night on March 13, 1960.

At the Ufa-Airport meteorological station, the air temperature dropped to -25.8 degrees Celsius at night, it was warmer in the city - at the Ufa meteorological post at the address: R. Sorge Street, 25/2, the thermometers showed -16.8 degrees.

In the republic, the air temperature dropped to -19, -26, in some areas to -27, -30 degrees. The coldest area was in the southeast of the region - 30.2 degrees below zero were recorded at the Kananikolskoye meteorological station in Zilair district.
