Rating of gifts for 8th of March

UFA, 8 March 2018. /Bashinform News Agency, Gulfiya Akulova/. Analysts of the "Yandex.Kassy" service studied the payments of Ufa users in online stores and made a rating of gifts by March 8. The payments were compared from March 1 to 5 and for the same period a year earlier.

According to the data analysis, the first place in the rating of the most frequently bought gifts for the holiday is clothes and underwear.

They are followed by cosmetics and perfumes, smartphones, gadgets, household appliances, household goods, souvenirs, hobby goods, books, goods for sports and tourism, sweets, grocery baskets, jewelry and bijouterie.

An average check for gifts for the International Women's Day is 2,700 rubles. A year earlier it was less - 2000 rubles.

On pre-holiday days, consumers spend on jewelry and bijouterie on average - 6200 rubles, on clothes, underwear - 1100 rubles and on books - 600 rubles.

Compared with last year, the demand for online cosmetics and perfumes grew most strongly - the number of such purchases increased seven-fold. Payments for smartphones and home appliances increased by more than five times, for sweets and gift baskets – by four times.
