Bashkiria is leader in Volga Federal District by number of registered marriages in January 2018

UFA, 5 March 2018. /Bashinform News Agency, Ksenia Kalinina/. Specialists of the Federal State Statistics Service released information on the number of registered births, deaths, marriages and divorces in January 2018. According to the department, the residents of Bashkiria registered 1,319 marriages in the first month of the year – by 43 less than in January 2017. The number of divorces was 1,305, which is by 91 more than the last year. Then the Nizhny Novgorod region (1 102 divorces) and Tatarstan (1,089) follow our republic in terms of divorces in the Volga Federal District.

Bashkortostan became the leader by the number of registered marriages (1 319) in January this year in the Volga Federal District, Tatarstan (1 233) took the second place, Nizhny Novgorod region (1 133) was the third.

Total, 9 288 marriages were concluded in the district in January 2018, which is by 295 less than during the same period of the last year. Meanwhile, 9 310 couples divorced - by 332 more than in January 2017.
