UFA, 5 March 2018. /Bashinform News Agency, Ksenia Kalinina/. Experts of the Russian quality system bought sour cream with 20% fat content of about 40 Russian and Belarusian brands. According to the press service of the department, the study will be conducted on 30 indicators of quality and safety. The composition of the product, artificial additives, quality of raw materials, compliance with GOST (state standards) and technical regulations will be checked. Roskachestvo will subject sour cream to tests according to its own standard, which establishes more rigid requirements to quality parameters.
"Experts in specialized laboratories will conduct histological studies on presence of soy, starch and carrageenan, as well as fatty acid composition and phytosterols to detect vegetable fats. Specialists will also examine sour cream for compliance with the declared mass fraction of fat", the report said.
Sour cream was purchased in such regions as Moscow and Moscow region, St. Petersburg and Leningrad region, Bashkortostan, Tula, Ryazan, Veliky Novgorod, Belgorod, Krasnodar and Stavropol Territories, Ivanovo, Kaliningrad, Voronezh, Vladimir, Vologda, Tver, Kaluga, Ryazan, Tula, Belgorod, Saratov, Novosibirsk, Samara, Pskov, Sverdlovsk regions, the Chuvash Republic.
