Winter does not give up: Bashkiria expects snowstorm and temperature drop to -32 degrees

UFA, 27 February 2018. /Bashinform News Agency, Alfiya Agliullina/. Today, on February 27, unfavorable weather conditions are expected in Bashkiria. Most part of the republic is in a zone of contrasting atmospheric fronts. During the day in the region snow, sometimes heavy is expected. In some areas, a snowstorm is expected with a wind increase of up to 17 m/s, light glaze, snow drifts on the roads, packed snow. Visibility at times will deteriorate to 500 meters or less, weather forecasters predict.

According to the Bashkir Met Office, the air temperature at night will be -6, -11 C, in the north down to -17 C. In the afternoon, mercury will show -2, -7 C with a decrease to -10, -15 by the evening.

"Tomorrow, on February 28, and on March 1, the intensity of atmospheric phenomena will grow weaker with the increase in atmospheric pressure. Another cold flow will come - the air temperature will drop at night to -21, -26 degrees, in places to -32, in the daytime to -9, -14 C, in places up to -19", the meteorologists of the republic specified.
