Ufa Vatan Park entered Top 10 ethno parks in Russia

UFA, 26 February 2018. /Bashinform News Agency, Daria Petrova/. Vatan Park, located in Ufa, entered the top ten ethno parks in Russia according to the TurStat analytical agency. The rating of ethnic parks and ethnographic open-air museum complexes was compiled on the basis of their popularity and proposals for tourists.
The rating leader was Cossack village "Ataman" in the Taman settlement of Temryuk district (Krasnodar Territory). In 2017 it was visited by more than 2 million tourists. The second place was taken by "Ethnomir" park-museum located in the village of Petrovo, Kaluga region, which last year was visited by more than 800 thousand people. A bronze award went to Finno-Ugric Ethnopark in the village of Yb (Republic of Komi), 20.5 thousand people came here. Ufa Vatan Park became the ninth in the rating. Also the Top 10 ethno parks of the country included "Okolitsa" rural park (Tomsk region), "Nomad" ethnopark (Moscow region), the "Tygydym" ethnographic village (Yaroslavl region), the "Golden Horde" ethnopark (Irkutsk region), "My Russia" ethnopark (Krasnaya Polyana, Sochi) and "Malye Korely"(Arkhangelsk region).
Vatan Ethnopark appeared in Ufa in 2015 on a square behind the Congress Hall. The park represents seven yurts, where you can get acquainted with culture and life of the peoples of Bashkortostan.
