1,350 young families with first-born children received certificates for 300 thousand rubles in Bashkiria

UFA, 2 February 2018. /Bashinform News Agency, Alfiya Agliullina/. In Bashkortostan, about three thousand young families applied for a lump-sum social payment for the birth of the first child. Of these, 1,350 received certificates for payment of 300 thousand rubles.

The implementation of this social program began in the republic last spring. According to the Decree of the Head of Bashkortostan Rustem Khamitov, the state support in the amount of 300 thousand rubles can be received by young families, as well as single mothers gave birth to the first children, who need improvement of housing conditions. The obligatory condition is that the age of both spouses should not exceed 35 years. In addition, a baby should be born in the territory of our republic from January 1, 2017 to December 31, 2018. The family has the right to apply for a social benefit within six months after the birth of the first child.

As reported by the Bashinform News Agency, 325 million rubles are allocated for a one-time social payment of 300 thousand rubles at the birth of the first child in 2018.

It is expected that over three years, certificates for this program will be received by more than two thousand families.

On November 30 last year, the head of the republic, Rustem Khamitov, in his annual address to the State Assembly - the Kurultai RB, instructed the Government to consider expanding the categories of young families entitled to receive a payment of 300,000 rubles for the first-born, and options for its use.

"Every year, in Bashkortostan about 10 billion rubles are allocated from the republican budget for young families support, social assistance measures are applied. Young families at the birth of a first child receive a lump sum payment of 300 thousand rubles. Thus, together with the maternity capital for the second child and the provision of a land plot or the third child in the republic, an integrated system of support for families with children has developed".

In the first month of 2018 in Bashkortostan, 1856 boys and 1524 girls were born. Among them there were 21 twins and one triplets. In all, 3380 babies were born in the maternity hospitals of the republic, preliminary data were reported by the Ministry of Health RB.

Last year, more than 49.2 thousand children were born in the republic.
