More than 19,000 Bashkiria residents fell ill with ARVI over last January week of 2018

UFA, 31 January 2018. /Bashinform News Agency, Elmira Sabirova/. Over the last January week (from 22 to 28 January) in 2018, more than 19 thousand residents of Bashkiria applied for healthcare with ARVI symptoms. Among them there were 13 thousand children, the regional department of Rospotrebnadzor reports. There are no grounds for panic. Epidemic thresholds are not exceeded. The incidence of acute respiratory viral infection is lower than that of epidemic threshold by 12.4%.
According to the results of laboratory monitoring, viruses of non-influenza etiology are circulating among the population. Thus, no influenza viruses were detected.
