Rustem Khamitov congratulated students of universities on Russian Students Day

UFA, 26 January 2018. /Bashinform News Agency/. The Head of Bashkortostan Rustem Khamitov visited the student’s festival, which took place on the square in front of the after M. Akmulla Bashkir State Pedagogical University, and congratulated the students of the republican universities on the Day of Russian Students.

"There are more than 200 thousand students in our republic; more than 100 thousand of them study at universities and about 100 thousand in secondary special educational institutions. This is a huge crew of young people - the most intelligent, advanced, talented. And you - students of our pedagogical university are among them, of course!" Rustem Khamitov said.

The head of the republic wished the students success in their studies and public activities and gave them the greetings from the President of Russia Vladimir Putin, who had recently visited Bashkortostan.

As part of the student's festivities, the "365 Good Deeds" campaign was launched. It suggests that the volunteers of the university will conduct socially significant events every day during the year. Participants in the holiday pressed a symbolic button that launched a "counter of good deeds", and thereby opened the Year of Volunteer.

During the visit to the pedagogical university, Rustem Khamitov also got acquainted with the projects of university students, the work of student and volunteer associations, and the organization of research work.
