Air temperature will be shown by huge thermometer installed on chimney in Ufa

UFA, 23 January 2018. /Bashinform News Agency, Gulfiya Akulova/. In Ufa, the air temperature will be shown a huge thermometer on a 120-meter chimney. The media installation of a thermometer with a height of more than 100 meters, showing the actual ambient temperature, will be located on a chimney belonging to the boiler house No. 27 of the Ufa Engineering Networks at 132a Mendeleev Street.

The works are carried out at the expense of the Ufa Engineering Networks. According to the company, the idea to organize such unusual lighting appeared after the complete reconstruction of the boiler house, when it was necessary to change the lighting on the chimney. The implementation of this project was undertaken by MT Electro company.

The project is a full-color controlled thermometer displayed on the surface of the chimney from three sides, with dynamically changing temperature readings depending on the ambient temperature, according to the website of the lighting company.

The enterprise was assured that an aesthetically original and at the same time practical art object should start operating in the near future.
