Almost 28 thousand new families appeared, 15,5 thousand marriages broke up in Bashkiria in 2017

UFA, 19 January 2018. /Bashinform News Agency, Gulfiya Akulova/. 27,931 couples were registered in the registrar offices of Bashkortostan last year. The Bashinform News Agency was informed about it by the State Committee RB for Justice Affairs. In the previous year in 2016, the number of families registered in the republic was much less - 25 323. The difference exceeded 2,5 thousand.

Many newlyweds choose specific dates to register their marriage. In 2017, such dates became 07.07.2017 - on this day 796 marriages were registered in the registrar offices of the republic, including 212 in Ufa. On July 8 - the Day of Family, Love and Fidelity 410 marriages were registered in the republic, 151 of them in Ufa.

The most active marriage age, both among men and women, is between 25 and 34 years. But there are exceptions. Thus, the 93rd-year-old groom and 78-year-old bride from the Abzelilovo district became the oldest couple who decided to legalize their relations.

15,568 couples divorced last year. In 2016, more than 15 646 divorces were registered, by 78 families more. Most often, divorcing is observed among families in the first five years of marriage. The oldest couple, which decided to divorce in senior years, was a couple with a 91-year-old husband and a 82-year-old wife.
